Low-budget Italian courses in Venice (20 lessons per week) are available in the summer session and classes are held in the afternoon from 4.30 to 8.30 pm. Lessons are delivered by qualified native-speaking teachers and based on the use of simple and effective teaching methods with small groups of 8-15 students in a fun and stimulating atmosphere. The communicative teaching method favours active participation and interaction in the classroom, promoting the student’s integration, both linguistic and cultural. At the end of the course the student can ask for a certificate of attendance or, on request, a certificate attesting the successful completion of courses.
We provide our customers with different accommodation options (private rooms, shared/individual flats, hotels) near the school.
Our Venice school is officially recognised by the Italian Ministery of Education. The school is located in the historical centre of Venice, in a historical building with a wide terrace on one of the most beautiful squares in the whole city. All the students have free access to two internet points, a self-access study room with video facilities where they can watch films from the video collection of the school and Wi-Fi Internet connection. Teachers have attended special seminars and teacher training programmes and they are experienced professionals teaching Italian as a foreign language. Lessons are always held in Italian and the teaching methodology is based on a fully communicative approach that promotes and encourages students’ active participation. It aims at developing oral and written communication skills. Students can also participate to all the social and cultural activities offered on a monthly basis by the school; all cultural and social activities are free of charge. Friendly and helpful staff are available and willing to help with any request for information or assistance that the student may have at any time.
