Fashion Business Master: one course, two diplomas
Master
If you want to focus on specific design-related topics we offer the possibility to do a specialization in different topics such as: costume, sustainable fashion, men and children garment, etc. A three-year Business Project Fashion Design diploma will be issued by Burgo Institute in Milan or Jean Monnet Fashion School.
This course is held every year, but you can choose whether to obtain an intermediate diploma (one year) or a laurea diploma (Bachelor). Regarding the type of certificate, you can select the certifying body of your diploma according to personal needs or demands.
The course takes place in group lessons from Monday to Thursday. The school is divided into two areas: practical (tailoring), theoretical and technological (styling). The styling hours are fixed during the morning, while the practice hours are personally coordinated with each student.
Tayloring
- You will learn the whole process to create a garment, from sketch interpretations to manufacture, using traditional made in Italy techniques.
Fashion design
- You will participate in theoretical lessons in which you will learn how to do fashion research, analysis, and trend reports. These skills, as well as digital drawing, are necessary to design a fashion collection.
Goals & Objectives
- The full course Business Project for Fashion aims at training the student in a variety of aspects related to entrepreneurship in fashion.
- The first year focuses on the identity of the stylist and the acquisition of tools that allow the student to create their collections.
- During the second year, the students tweak their technique and refines their style, deepening in different topics and generating capsule collections.
- The third year focuses on the completion of your portfolio, the preparation of your final thesis and work insertion.
Title Issued
- Fashion Designer Diploma Issued by the Burgo Institute of Milan.
- Enrolment deadline: July
Frequency
- 20 hours weekly Monday to Friday 8:30 – 17:00 (lunch break 30 min) Total 10 months per year for 3 years.
- Start: September End: June
- Cost: € 5500 (yearly). Lessons will be held at the Cesena Fashion School headquarters and the diplomas will be awarded by the Burgo Institute, Milan.
Materials The school provides the theoretical material required both for the tailoring area and for the design area. Students must bring their own computer with the requirements specified by the school. Inscription: open yearly until July
This course is aimed at students between  18 and 26 years old, no previous knowledge on fashion is required.
