What about the weekend? Italians love to go to food festivals and open days at local farms and food businesses. In November and December, several olive oil mills across Umbria will open their doors in the weekends so that visitors can learn about the harvest of olives and the production of olio extra vergine di oliva.

It’s foodie Friday again and you get to learn the secrets of wine tasting with an expert sommelier, followed by a cooking lesson in Italian with a local family. Enjoy your culinary creations in a lively, Italian-style dinner!
Saturday’s program varies: you might visit a vineyard to learn about grape harvest; or enjoy tasting at an Open Winery; or join a local wine festival.
