Our painting course<\/strong> is organized by our art school in Florence. We offer courses on art and culture for students interested in learning the skills of the Visual Arts with a Curriculum that is approachable and complete.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Courses can last from 2 weeks to one year long, depending on your own needs. They are easily adaptable and can be personalized to serve the student’s individual needs.<\/p>\n

They range from beginner to professional level. The school is open year-round and is located in the historic center of Florence.<\/p>\n

Courses start any Monday.<\/p>\n

Painting holidays in Italy! <\/strong>Planning an art holiday in Italy?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

 <\/p>\n

Our Florence school offers 2 or more weeks long classic painting techniques courses.<\/p>\n

    \n
  • This course can be taught in Italian or in English. Courses are very practical and hands-on and are conducted by local artists.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
      \n
    • The course introduces you to the painting techniques practised between 1300 and 1500.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
        \n
      • You will also study the major artworks created during this period by artists from Giotto to Leonardo and Michelangelo.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
          \n
        • The knowledge gained will be put into practice by the copying of paintings in order to learn the fundamental techniques used; such as egg tempera, gold leaf, oil colours and other materials.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
            \n
          • The entire process for the realization of complete paintings will start by the preparation of the supports and it will end with the final glazing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
