You will be guided by a professional art historian from Florence to discover Italian Renaissance masterpieces.<\/p>\n<p>This course online is held in Italian, Spanish or French. It lasts two months, 10 meetings.<\/p>\n<p>Lessons take place on request<\/p>\n<p>Starting date: upon request<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lesson 1<\/strong>: The artistic renewal of the second half of the 13th century in Tuscany with Nicola and Giovanni Pisano and Arnolfo di Cambio.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lesson 2<\/strong>: Painting in the 13th and 14th centuries in central Italy and in particular in Florence. The great renewal of Giotto.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lesson 3<\/strong>: Painting in Florence and Siena after Giotto.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lesson 4<\/strong>: The beginning of the Renaissance: Lorenzo Ghiberti and Filippo Brunelleschi and the 1401 competition for the second door of the Florence baptistery.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lesson 5<\/strong>: Masaccio and Donatello, both avant-garde.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lesson 6<\/strong>: Painting after Masaccio. The search for light and color: Beato Angelico and Filippo Lippi.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lesson 7<\/strong>: Flemish naturalism and relations between Italy and Flanders. Ghirlandaio, Piero della Francesca and Antonello da Messina.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lesson 8<\/strong>: Florence in the second half of the 15th century. Verrocchio and his workshop. The Lorenzo the Magnificent courtyard and its artists.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lesson 9<\/strong>: The court of Lorenzo the Magnificent. The refined painting of Botticelli. Leonardo and Verrocchio.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lesson 10<\/strong>: Michelangelo and his training in the Mediterranean environment.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><iframe style=\"display:
