Accommodation
For many of our courses, Ours schools offer the possibility to stay in private homes. We are not a estate agency, so that this service is only for people wishing to have a homestay experience.
The accommodation search is carried by our schools out only after registration and payment of the course deposit. Once the accommodation has been allocated (approximately 20 days before the start of the course) if you cancel your booking, you will be required to pay a cancellation fee of €150, which will be deducted from your course payment
The houses are shared with Italian people: single people or families. Each house is different and may be located in different parts of the city, but always within easy reach from the school. They are not hotels, so we ask you to always respect the rules of the families.
Accommodation runs from the Sunday before the course to the following Saturday (in some cases until Sunday). In some cases it is possible to book an extra night from Saturday to Sunday.
Accommodation prices are weekly, not daily. If you arrive on, for example, a Monday, the Sunday night is non-refundable. The same if you decide to leave on a Friday.
The cost includes the room, cleaning on arrival, 1 weekly washing machine, water, electricity, gas. Bed linen, towels and use of the kitchen. The accommodation costs has to be paid directly at school or to your host on the first day. Studiainitalia does not accept payments for accommodation
Private homes are allocated by schools only 20 to 30 days before departure and, where possible, the school will send photos. Many families do not wish to send photos of their home for privacy reasons.
If you have special requests, the school will always try to accommodate them, but you must communicate these at the time of enrolment, as the school will not be able to do anything for you once you have been allocated accommodation/arrived in Italy.
If you don’t like your accommodation, you must notify the school office on the first day and request an alternative that will be offered if there is availability.
Our accommodations are for open-minded and flexible people who wish to have an Italian experience
But still, if you think you have special requirements or are not suitable for sharing with other people or think you cannot abide by basic rules of cohabitation, we can help you find a private flat
In many of our accommodations there are dogs or cats, if you are allergic, please let us know at the time of registration
