The bespoke shoemaking course consists of 2 modules.

 

In the first 10-week basic module, you will learn the basic techniques of Bespoke Shoemaking.

On completion of the 20-week programme, you will have an advanced expertise, with which you will be able you design and create a Bespoke pair of shoes. 

 

Our 10-week programme includes basic training on shoemaking techniques, such as:

 

  • Leather Cutting techniques
  • Goodyear Hand Welted technique
  • Basic pattern making techniques
  • Upper making
  • Foot measuring
  • Bespoke last adjustments

 

Our 20-week course includes the following:

 

  • Leather Cutting techniques

  • Upper making
  • Foot measuring
  • Bespoke last adjustments
  • Norwegian Construction technique
  • Making a pair of Bespoke shoes
  • Design, Branding and Marketing elements

Bespoke shoemaking Course participants are encouraged to think and develop the essential elements of their own design identity.

In our courses, you will be able to conceive, design and create your own capsule collection, which will help you start to define your personal aesthetic vision while thinking about brand building strategies.

No previous experience is needed

 

The Maestro Level is the highest professional training for Men’s Bespoke shoe-making.

 

Students in the third module are assigned to a single maestro, who will assist them on their daily activities. This level is reserved to a maximum of two applicants.

This course is held at the Stefano Bemer atelier in Florence, which permits students to master and complete their specialization at one of the most successful Bespoke brands in the world.

ENROLL ONE OF OUR COURSES

Before you enroll, a personal interview with the school’s staff will be arranged, which will help us verify your language skills and motivations.

PARTICIPANTS

There is a maximum of 12 students. There are no previous requisites. When we handle your application, we will pay special attention to your motivation and your personal vision.

REQUIREMENTS

A high school diploma; high-intermediate (B2) level of English or Italian language (enough to understand and to participate in lessons); 18 years of age at the time of application.

ATTENDANCE

Attendance is compulsory. Classes and workshops are held from Monday to Friday, from 9:30am to 5:30pm.

STARTING DATES

Our training programmes starts twice a year: beginning of February and beginning of September.

HOUSING

The school provides students with information and support help you find accommodation during for the duration of your course. Living expenses are not included in the tuition fee.
