When to go?
The Tuscan countryside is in full bloom during May and June, while the colours of autumn are equally inspiring.
It’s great to be in Siena in July and August during the Palio horse race. Siena enjoys a mild climate all year round.
There and Around
The best way to get to Siena is through Florence’s Peretola Airport, from where you will need to travel to take a bus or a taxi to Florence Bus Station. From there, there are very frequent SITA services to Siena (around 1 hour).
