Controller and scope

This policy explains how cookies and similar technologies are used on studiainitalia.com. The controller is STUDIAINITALIA CURSOS Y VIAJES, S.L., tax ID (NIF) B84916279, with registered address at calle Ferrer del Río, 28, esc. 1, 6.º B, 28028 Madrid, Spain. You can contact us by email at info@studiainitalia.com.

What cookies are

They are files saved on your device when you visit a website, which make it possible to store or retrieve information about that visit. In this policy we also include equivalent technologies, such as the browser’s local storage. Some provide features you ask for; others are used to analyse visits, measure advertising or show external content.

What we use them for

Necessary. They make the website work, remember your cookie choice and keep features you ask for, such as the language you choose. Only technologies that are strictly necessary for the communication or for the service requested are included in this category. Under article 22.2 of the Spanish Information Society Services Act (LSSI), storing or accessing them does not require consent.

Analytics. With your consent, Google Analytics uses identifiers to distinguish browsers and obtain statistics about the pages visited and interactions. These identifiers may be personal data; we do not present this processing as anonymous.

Ad measurement. With your consent, Google Ads makes it possible to attribute visits or enquiries to our campaigns and measure their results. If you also submit a form, the Google tag sends your email address to Google in hashed form to attribute the enquiry to a campaign (“enhanced conversions”).

Personalised advertising. If you specifically allow it, information about your browsing on this website is used to tailor ads to your interests on the Google network.

External content. You can separately allow Google Maps maps and YouTube and Vimeo videos. When they load, the provider receives the data needed for the connection, such as your IP address and browser data, and may use the technologies and purposes detailed in the inventory. We do not enable optional purposes you have not accepted.

Until you decide, the website does not load any of these optional tools.

Videos and other embedded content

Optional external content stays blocked until you allow it: instead, you see a notice with an image stored on our server, a button to allow the provider and a link to view the content on its website. We use the privacy options available, such as YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode or Vimeo’s “do not track” (DNT) option, but this does not mean that no data is processed. You can use the link to the external platform instead of allowing it to load here; once you leave our website, the destination’s terms apply.

In our checks, the YouTube player did not set cookies but did use the browser’s storage; the Vimeo player set security cookies from its provider Cloudflare; and Google Maps did not set cookies. The details are in the inventory.

Other connections without cookies

To show our students’ reviews in the footer, the website loads a component from REVI DIGITAL S.L. (Valencia, Spain), our review service provider. It does not set cookies or use your browser’s storage; it receives the IP address and browser data needed to serve the component.

Inventory of cookies and technologies

These are the cookies and equivalent technologies we have observed on the website (check of 19 October 2026). “First-party, managed by a third party” means that it is stored under the studiainitalia.com domain but used by the provider shown. The durations are those of storage on your device; how long each provider keeps the data it receives is explained further below. Only people who log in to edit the website receive the cookies in the last block.

How to accept, reject or change your decision

Before using non-necessary cookies we ask for your permission, whatever country you are visiting from. You can click “Accept all”, “Reject non-necessary” or “Customise”. Optional choices are not pre-ticked. Closing the notice, continuing to browse or scrolling the page does not mean you accept.

We remember your choice for 12 months, unless you clear your browser data or change it before then. We will ask for new consent for new uses that require it. You can easily withdraw it from “Cookie settings” in the footer of every page, or here: Cookie settings.

When you withdraw a permission, we stop using the technologies and making new transmissions linked to the purposes withdrawn: the page reloads to stop anything already loaded. We delete the optional cookies we can manage from our website. Some third-party cookies may remain in your browser: you can delete them from its settings. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing and does not, by itself, delete data already received by the providers.

Legal basis and proof of your choice

Processing of data for analytics, ad measurement, personalised advertising and optional external content is based on your consent (article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw. To comply with our obligation to demonstrate it, we keep minimal evidence of the decision: a random identifier, the date and time, the categories and providers allowed or rejected, the version of the information, the language and whether it is the first choice or a change. We do not store your IP address, your browser or the page from which you decide. The legal basis for this evidence is article 6(1)(c) in connection with article 7(1) GDPR.

To protect this record against abusive submissions, for one minute we count the requests coming from the same IP address using an encrypted value that is not stored in the record. The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in the security of the website (article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Retention and recipients

Storage durations on your device are shown in the inventory. Analytics data is kept in Google Analytics for 14 months. Advertising data is kept by Google under its policy: in its ad server logs, it removes part of the IP address after 9 months and cookie information after 18 months (how Google retains data). The evidence of your choice is kept for 36 months from each decision, with access restricted to the people who manage the website, and is then deleted automatically.

Recipients of data:

  • Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland), for Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Maps and YouTube. For Google Analytics it acts on our behalf as a processor, under Google’s data processing terms. For Google Ads, Google Maps and YouTube it also processes the data for its own purposes as a controller, under its terms and its privacy policy.
  • Vimeo.com, Inc. (New York, USA), for Vimeo videos, as a controller under its privacy policy.
  • REVI DIGITAL S.L. (Valencia, Spain), for the reviews component.

International transfers

  • Google: Google Ireland Limited may transfer the data to Google LLC, in the United States. Mechanism: the European Commission’s adequacy decision on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2023/1795 of 10 July 2023), in which Google LLC participates, and, as an additional safeguard, the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses included in Google’s data processing terms.
  • Vimeo: when you allow a Vimeo video, your browser sends the data directly to Vimeo.com, Inc., in the United States. Vimeo states that it participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Vimeo information).
  • Revi: there is no international transfer; the provider is in Spain.

The adequacy decision is in force on the date of this policy. You can check each company’s certification on the official Data Privacy Framework list. For more information or a copy of the safeguards, write to us at info@studiainitalia.com.

Your rights and browser controls

You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, where applicable, by writing to info@studiainitalia.com. You can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD), www.aepd.es. More information in our privacy policy.

You can also delete or block cookies in the settings of Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge. If you block the necessary ones, some features may not be available.
