Immerse yourself in the culinary arts with the Cibrèo Culinary Programme, one of the most comprehensive and unique cooking courses in Italy and Europe.
Study and work in the renowned culinary venue of Florence, where you’ll gain technical, practical, and theoretical knowledge in all aspects of food production, preparation, consumption, and business management.
This intensive course will provide you with a technical, practical and theoretical knowledge to everything related to food production, preparation, consumption and management and business.
Cibrèo was founded in 1979 following an intuition by Fabio Picchi,
It has become the ideal setting for cultural discussion and social promotion.
The culinary programme is composed of 12 weeks
you will learn the fundamental cooking techniques; you will also learn how to source and select the best quality ingredients.
You will reach a professional level, which means that you have acquirer advanced cooking skills and an essential managerial and entrepreneurial expertise.
The 12-week programme includes training in:
- – Homemade Pasta, gnocchi, Italian classics
- – Fish and sea food
- – Baking: bread, pizza
- – Introduction to pastry
- – Nutritional, lactose free and vegan cuisines
- – Advanced pastry
- – Pasta & Rice from the world
- – Breads from the world; international recipes and cuisines
At the end of your culinary programme at the Academy, you will have to prepare and present a final project, which represents and shows your idea of Culinary business.
The final work consists in a complete and detailed project, which includes business plan, logo and a defined brand strategy.
Your final project will be an original concept for a new format in culinary business, to be funded anywhere in the world.
The skills, vision and professional training acquired during the course provide students with the opportunity to start or enrich a career as Food & Beverage Entrepreneurs, Food & Beverage managers, consultants, Chefs, Food & Beverage Event managers.
The programme is also an inspiration for students wishing to become food artisans: farmers, wine makers, bakers and cheesemakers.

No previous experience is needed
ENROLL ONE OF OUR COURSES
Before you enroll, a personal interview with the school’s staff will be arranged, which will help us verify your language skills and motivations.
PARTICIPANTS
There is a maximum of 12 students. There are no previous requisites. When we handle your application, we will pay special attention to your motivation and your personal vision.
REQUIREMENTS
A high school diploma; high-intermediate (B2) level of English or Italian language (enough to understand and to participate in lessons); 18 years of age at the time of application.
ATTENDANCE
Attendance is compulsory. Classes and workshops are held from Monday to Friday, from 9:30am to 5:30pm.
STARTING DATES
Our training programmes starts twice a year: beginning of February and beginning of September.
HOUSING
The school provides students with information and support help you find accommodation during for the duration of your course. Living expenses are not included in the tuition fee.
