From their creative studio and workshop at Manifattura Tabacchi, SUPERDUPER challenges the standard model of fashion e-commerce. 12-week hat making course will let you become a contemporary Fashion Hats Maker and entrepreneur.
Each hat making course consists of two modules:
The first one features an intensive introduction to Hat Making, with notions on design and branding too.
In the second part of the program, students decide their favorite path to attend, choosing among:
– Design
– Branding
– Making
Each of them has its own tutor from SUPERDUPER, in order to provide the best training and learning method.
The program delivers the widest and deepest training in Hat making and Design, featuring:
– Blocked Hats: Making and Design– Blocking Hats by hands and machine
– Hand stitching and use of plain sewing machine
– Use of: Hand and Machine brim cutter, Arm sewing machine, Chain sewing machine
– Design and Branding labs
– Final Project
The final project of this making hat course, will be the common thread of the course and will lead you to acquire the skills and the knowledge to put your ideas into practice.
You will be encouraged to think and develop the essential elements of your design identity.
You will conceive, design and create your own capsule collection, starting to define your personal aesthetic vision while commencing to think about possible brand building strategies

ENROLL ONE OF OUR COURSES
Before you enroll, a personal interview with the school’s staff will be arranged, which will help us verify your language skills and motivations.
PARTICIPANTS
There is a maximum of 12 students. There are no previous requisites. When we handle your application, we will pay special attention to your motivation and your personal vision.
REQUIREMENTS
A high school diploma; high-intermediate (B2) level of English or Italian language (enough to understand and to participate in lessons); 18 years of age at the time of application.
ATTENDANCE
Attendance is compulsory. Classes and workshops are held from Monday to Friday, from 9:30am to 5:30pm.
STARTING DATES
Our training programmes starts twice a year: beginning of February and beginning of September.
HOUSING
The school provides students with information and support help you find accommodation during for the duration of your course. Living expenses are not included in the tuition fee.
