Painting course in Florence
Our painting course runs in an art workshop “bottega” in Florence. The Italian bottega was the place where the most famous Italian artists, such as Giotto, Leonardo and Raffaello, learned the painting techniques.
All these painters, in fact, did not learn how to paint in an art school but in a bottega.
Today, following this ancient learning method, we offer you the same opportunity: to paint in a real Florentine bottega!
The workshop is located in the historic centre of Florence. It is open all year round and you can take short or long term courses. This painting course is open to all levels.

Quedé fascinada con el curso!! Fue una semana intensiva increíble!! Me fascinó aprender pintura al óleo con Lucetta!! Es una genia, te explica la tecnica con mucha pasión y paciencia. Me encanto aprender las técnicas de los colores, el claro oscuro, la profundida. Ella esta muy atenta a lo que uno va pintando y te guía pero de manera que uno logre su propia creación. Me senti muy comoda. Y disfrute muchísimo hablar y aprender sobre los secretos de los grandes pintores, arte, historia y otros temas que enriquece el alma. Estoy ansiosa por volver a tomar clases con Lucetta ojalá pueda quedarme más tiempo la próxima vez.
Por además Florencia realmente es una ciudad mágica en la que cada día uno descubre algo nuevo.
Y tambien quiero agradecer por el hospedaje. Amalia es encantadora, disfrute mucho la estancia en su casa. Me sentí súper cómoda y me encanto conocerla y compartir cenas y charlas con ella.

The oil painting course with Lucetta, organised by Studia in Italia, was a wonderful experience. Lucetta is a patient, helpful and very giving teacher. I learned a lot from her and with her guidance, I expanded my oil painting skills beyond expectations. Her extensive knowledge enables her to support her students in whichever painting technique they would like to improve. I found communication with Lucetta very easy and hope to come back one day, to take some more painting lessons from her.
I would also like to say here that the staff of Studia in Italia, especially Federica, have been extremely helpful and very intent on organising everything according to my requirements.
This, combined with the stay in the marvellous city of Florence, have made my study experience in Italy a remarkable experience. Thank you all.

It was an amazing experience with Lucetta. She is patient and able to understand your needs and the type of paintings you want to focus on. She is a really kind person that makes the communication really easy and fluent. If you really want to improve your painting skills in such a beautiful city as Florence I highly encourage you to take this course. It was my pleasure to take the painting course with my instructor Lucetta Risaliti via Studia in Italia. In only four days i was able to finish an oil painting, knowing that i had a previous experience in drawing but this was my first experience in drawing with oil. Lucetta was very helpful and i learned a lot from her. And of course i must admit that Florence for me is a magical artistic city, and i fell in love with it ? i really believe that the magic of this city is the reason that i was able to finish my painting in such a short time. If i had the chance to come again to Florence, I would definitely come again ?

Saludos, me pareció que el precio de la estadía estaba razonable fue de gran ayuda, todos muy amables, el taller con Virginia fue muy buena experiencia, mucha pizza y me entere de todo sobre la situación política actual, Roma es intensa, Florencia linda sin turistas, el mejor helado me lo comí en Alla Carraia y Venecia única.
