Taormina


Taormina is a beautiful Sicilian city, full of culture and history, surrounded by the sea and close to the Etna. It is an ideal place to learn Italian and to discover the treasures of Sicily, enjoy the beaches and tour Southern Italy. Many cultures transformed Taormina, including the Greeks, the Arabs, the Normans and the Romans. They all left their mark here, making of Taormina one of the most interesting cities in the whole Mediterranean.

When to go?


The best times to visit Taormina are from April to June, or in September and October when temperatures are mild and pleasant, however July and August are the typical summer months if you want to enjoy a holiday by the sea.


There & Around


Taormina is easily reachable by air through Catania International Airport V. Bellini.  There are several bus services from the airport to Taormina (around 90 minutes). Alternatively, there are local buses from Catania Central Railway Station. We can arrange an airport transfer for you.
