Description
Our Italian language school in Taormina is recognised by the Italian Ministery of Education. The school is located in a historic villa in Taormina, just a few meters from the Greek Theatre. The villa, known as Casa Silva, hosts a wide variety of cultural events, such as book presentations by authors, a cine-forum and, in the summer, painting and sculpture exhibitions. Furthermore, live theatre performances and live concerts (jazz and classical music) are offered. In the garden students can enjoy their leisure time under the lush green trees to study, relax and meet their classmates where they can get coffee, cappuccino, fruit salad, croissants, cakes and typical Sicilian dishes in the cafeteria. All of the teachers are university graduates and many speak at least one or two other languages and nd all have been formally trained to teach Italian as a second/foreign language. The school organizes numerous social activities and excursions, a perfect invitation to discover the Sicilian way of life, its local customs, traditions, food and wines.
