- This work and study programme in design is targeted at Interior design students from 18 to 30 years old who would like to combine their Italian course with a work stay in Florence.
- You will attend an intensive Italian course during the first 4 weeks and thereafter start your working stage (8 weeks; 32 hours per week) in an Italian Interior Design Studio.
- This is not a paid job.
- Our Italian courses in Florence consist of 4 Italian lessons per day.
- Courses are open to all levels, from beginners to advanced according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Groups are very small (6-10 students).
- The teaching method is based on the communicative approach focusing on those aspects of language for achieving effective linguistic interaction.
Italian and work in design
Our Italian and work in Design is offered by our school in Florence. The school is recognised as a consultancy and training organisation for Lifelong Learning. The school is also accredited by the Region of Tuscany.
This programme is an opportunity to combine your Italian language course with practical experience. You will learn Italian design through an internship with an Italian product design company or interior design company.
It´s the perfect opportunity to live an Italian experience in a genuine context. You will develop language and professional skills through daily interaction with Italians.

Accommodation in Florence

Important details:
- Accommodation is available from Sunday to Sunday.
- Water, gas and electricity costs are included.
- Sheets and towels are provided.
- The flats are shared with Italians, which makes it easier to practise the language.
- Accommodation is allocated approximately 20 days before your arrival in Italy.
- In some cases, it is possible to request a private bathroom (at an additional cost).
If you prefer, you can also request other types of accommodation, such as private apartments or stays with Italian families with half board, always in areas well connected to the centre of the city.
