Work & Learn in Italy!

This internship programme in architecture is targeted at architecture students over 18 to 30 years old who would like to combine their Italian course with a work stay in Florence.

You will attend an intensive Italian course during the first 4 weeks and thereafter start your working stage (8 weeks; 32 hours per week) in a professional studio. This is not a paid job.

Our Italian courses in Florence consist of four Italian lessons per day. Courses are open to all levels, from beginners to advanced. Groups are very small (6-10 students).

The teaching method is based on the communicative approach so you will be able to start the stage with a good level of Italian.

Learn Italian and work in Architecture

Our school in Florence organizes this programme work & study in architecture all year. The school was founded in 1978. It is recognised by the Italian Education Ministry. In addition, it is recognized as consultancy and training organisation by the Region of Tuscany. The school is located in an historic building in the centre of Florence.

The work & stage course is an opportunity to mix your Italian course with a practical experience in architectural studios.

Your accommodation in Italy

• Accommodation is available from Sunday to Saturday. A deposit of 150 € is required

Costs of water, gas and electricity are not included. Towels and sheets are provided.

• Flats are shared with Italians, generally between 2 or 3 persons.

• Accommodations are assigned only 20 days before your arrival in Italy.

• Sometimes it is possible to request a private bathroom (supplement required).

A verdade é que tanto o curso de italiano quanto o estágio foram ótimos.Devo dizer que todos os professores do curso de italiano eram muito divertidos e muito bons. As lições eram muito rápidas e fáceis de aprender. Eles também ajudavam você em tudo o que podiam.Quanto aos estágios, não posso dizer o suficiente. Sou muito grato a todos os meus colegas. Aprendi muito, muitas coisas que não são ensinadas na universidade. Fiquei muito triste por ter que sair. Eu estava muito integrado à dinâmica de trabalho. Para meu primeiro contato depois da universidade, estou muito feliz.De minha parte, só posso dizer que é um curso que recomendo 100%.Também gostaria de agradecer à Federica e à Lara, que foram muito atenciosas com o desenvolvimento do meu curso e me ajudaram muito.

The truth is that both the Italian course and the internship were great… I have to say that all the teachers were very good and fun to work with. The classes went very quickly and were easy to learn and they helped you with everything they could. They helped you with everything they could, and then the internship, I can’t say enough. I am very grateful to all my colleagues. I have learned a lot, many things that are not taught at university. I was very sad to have to leave. I was very integrated into the work dynamic. For my first contact after university, I am quite happy, and I would like to say that it is a course that I recommend 100%, and I would also like to thank Federica and Lara who have been very attentive to the development of my course and have helped me a lot.

Pues la verdad, que tanto el curso de italiano como las prácticas han estado genial.Del curso de italiano tengo que decir que todos los profesores son muy divertidos y muy buenos. Las clases se pasaban muy rápido y fácil de aprender. Además, te ayudaban con todo lo que podían.Luego las prácticas, no tengo palabras. Estoy muy agradecido a todos mis compañeros. He aprendido mucho, muchas cosas que en la universidad no se enseñan. Me ha dado mucha pena tener que irme. Estaba muy integrado en la dinámica de trabajo. Para ser mi primera toma de contacto después de la universidad, estoy bastante contento.Por mi parte queda decir, que es un curso que recomiendo al 100%.También dar la gracias a Federica y a Lara que han estado muy pendientes del desarrollo de mi curso y me han ayudado mucho.
