This work and study programme is targeted at marketing students from 18 to 30 years old who would like to combine their Italian course with a work stay in Florence. You will attend an intensive Italian course during the first 4 weeks and thereafter start your working stage (8 weeks; 32 hours per week). This is not a paid job.

Our Italian courses in Florence consist of four Italian lessons per day. Courses are open to all levels, from beginners to advanced according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. On the first day, an entrance test will take place. Groups are very small (6-10 students).

The teaching method is based on the communicative approach focusing on those aspects of language for achieving effective linguistic interaction.

Our school in Florence, founded in 1978, is recognised by the Italian Education Ministry. It is characterized by the care and attention with which staff members treat each and every course participant, taking care of their needs and trying to satisfy their expectations.

The atmosphere is cheerful and informal. The school is located in a historic building in the centre of Florence, very close to Ponte Vecchio and Piazza Santo Spirito, one of the most beautiful squares in the city. This square is also a meeting place for Florentines.

The school organizes 2 social activities a week. There are books and movies available from the school library that can be used by students in the afternoon.

¡Una experiencia increíble!Yo escogí la opción de estudia y trabaja en Florencia, y por supuesto fue todo un acierto. Se lo recomiendo a todo aquel que quiera estudiar italiano bien y de manera rápida. Además es ideal para quienes quieran conocer gente de otros países, ya que en la escuela donde imparten las clases, hay gente nueva cada semana. ¡Una idea genial para aprender el idioma y conocer gente!En cuanto a la parte laboral, si alguien tiene dudas o quiere intentar meter la cabeza en Italia, desde mi experiencia puedo decir que no puedo estar más contenta. Gracias a las prácticas que te ofrece Studiainitalia y a la constancia en el trabajo persiguiendo mi objetivo, he conseguido trabajo en la misma empresa y en esta preciosa ciudad de la que estoy encantada de seguir viviendo. The Italian school couldn’t have been better. Everyone there is very helpful, and they helped me when we had a mismatch for the internship. My suggestion for improvement would be to do an interview, to better understand the student’s objective, and avoid mismatches. Thank you for the experience!

La escuela de italiano no podría haber sido mejor. Todo el mundo allí es muy servicial, y me ayudaron cuando tuvimos un desencuentro sobre las prácticas. Mi sugerencia para mejorar sería hacer una entrevista, para comprender mejor el objetivo del estudiante, y evitar desajustes. ¡Gracias por la experiencia!
