This experience will be unforgettable, since all the artworks can be seen in the places they were designed for by Carpaccio, Bellini, Tiziano, Tintoretto, Veronese, Tiepolo, Sansovino, Palladio, Canova, Scarpa and many others.
This art history course offers you the possibility to join guided tours through the city. It is not easy to find a city as full of artistic and architectural masterpieces as Venice. In every sestiere, campo or calle there is something that is waiting to be discovered.
- Thanks to the experience of our art teachers, you can get to know in details the works of famous painters as Bellini, Carpaccio, Tintoretto, Veronese, Tiziano, Tiepolo, Canaletto.
- You will also learn architecture from Palladio to Carlo Scarpa. Thus, not only the most known areas, such as Saint Mark’s square and Rialto, but also churches, museums, Academies of Fine Arts, Scuole, palaces, the Ghetto.
- This course takes place from Monday to Friday and the lessons are held in the morning or in the afternoon for three hours.
- Lessons are held in Italian.

Art history course in Venice
Our Italian art history course takes place in our Venice school. The school is located in the historical centre of Venice, in a historical building with a wide terrace on one of the most beautiful squares in the whole city.
The art history course in Venice is held in the morning or in the afternoon for three hours (15 hours a week). Each course has a different theme.
Classes are always held in Italian and an intermediate level of the language is requiered to attend this course. The great Venetian Schools are included in the weekly programme.
If you do not speak Italian, we can also offer these courses in English in Rome and Florence. Art history online courses also available.

We offer accommodation in single room, with kitchen use, in shared flats (generally 2-3 persons). Accommodation is available from Sunday to Saturday.

- Sheets and towels are provided.
- The flats are shared with Italians, which makes it easier to practise the language.
- Accommodation is allocated approximately 20 days before your arrival in Italy.

If you prefer, you can also request other types of accommodation, such as private apartments or stays with Italian families with half board, always in areas well connected to the centre of the city.

Elle est très bien organisée et propose des activités gratuites intéressantes tous les après-midi, ce qui est une excellente occasion de se faire de nouveaux amis ! I absolutely loved my stay in Italy. The school does a very serious job. Tey’re extremely organized and offer interesting free activities every afternoon – which is a great oportunity to make new friends! Both the staff the students made me feel integrated from the first day. The course itself was also very useful, I learned a lot about Venetian art and italian culture in general. Italy is the place to go if you love art and culture, and I wish I could have stayed longer. I will definetely go back one day. I have absolutely no complaints! Ho fatto il corso d arte a Venezia l´ultima settimana di settembre. Il professore é stato Domenico Salamino. Il corso é stato sul pittore Bellini. Come sempre Domenico mi ha sembrato meraviglioso non soltanto per tutto quello che ci ha insegnato riguardante a Bellini ma anche pero tutto quello che abbiamo imparato sul contesto storico, sociale e urbanistico del quttrocento e cinquecento veneziano. I took an art course in Venice during the last week of September. The professor was Domenico Salamino. The course was about the painter Bellini. As always, Domenico was wonderful, not only for everything he taught us about Bellini, but also for everything we learned about the historical, social and urban context of 15th and 16th century Venice.
