Learn Italian in Siena!

Do you know where is Siena exactly? It is one of the most popular places in Tuscany, very close to Florence. It is world famous for its Palio, the horse race that takes places in the summer. Siena also has one of the most beautiful cathedrals in Italy and its marble mosaic floor can only be seen for short periods each year. We suggest you to visit the Chianti region and Val d’Orcia to immerse yourself in the Tuscan countryside.

  • Our courses consist of 4 Italian lessons. They are available all year round and you can learn Italian in Siena for any length of time.
  • Students take a written and spoken placement test in order to assess the most appropriate language level, and the groups are small (5-10 students).
  • The primary aim is to improve the student’s communicative ability in all areas. The teaching method favours active participation and interaction in the classroom.
  • Students are encouraged to take full advantage of their stay in Italy from a linguistic and cultural point of view. In order to facilitate this, the school offers a series of optional cultural and social activities as an integral part of the programme.

Hello, it was very good: the organisation, the classes and the teacher. I just think that my group was too big, we would have made more progress if we were less, but it was very interesting, the only thing I missed was that during the breaks the students tried to speak more in Italian. I don’t speak English and it was the only language that could be heard. And in trying to relate to the only language that united us all: Italian, I couldn’t get people to make an effort. I don’t think that the school should oblige, but it wouldn’t be bad to advise them to speak in the language they are going to study.

Muchas gracias!Marta, España
