Learn fresco painting in Italy!

 

Some of the most famous examples of fresco in Italy are the Sistine Chapel by Michelangelo and Giotto’s frescoes.

During this course you will lear:

  • the bon fresco technique
  • shiny stucco and encaustic
  • canvas and the strappo technique

We offer 1, 2 or more weeks of fresco courses. You can book the hours that you wish and distribute them along the number of weeks of your choice.

The course is availble all year except in August.

Fresco Course

 

Our fresco course is held in an art worksop in Florence.

Fresco is an ancient painting technique that consists of painting on fresh plaster with pigments of mineral origin. Through the chemical process of carbonation, the colour merges with the plaster, thus allowing the paint to resist over time.

 

The course is one to one and it is held in Italian. The course is open to all levels and the programme can be tailor-made.

A translator service is available if you do not speak Italian.

  • Single rooms in host families, with meals;

Accommodation is available from Sunday to Sunday.

 

• Costs of water, gas and electricity are included. Towels and sheets are provided.

• Flats are shared with Italians, generally between 2 or 3 persons.

• Accommodations are assigned only 20 days before your arrival in Italy.

• Sometimes it is possible to request a private bathroom (supplement required).
