- This work and study programme in Education is targeted at students from 18 to 30 years old who would like to combine their Italian course with a work stay in Florence.
- You will attend an intensive Italian course during the first 4 weeks and thereafter start your working stage (8 weeks; 32 hours per week) in an Italian School or Educational Companies.
- This is not a paid job.
- Our Italian courses in Florence consist of 4 Italian lessons per day.
- Courses are open to all levels, from beginners to advanced according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Groups are very small (6-10 students).
- The teaching method is based on the communicative approach focusing on those aspects of language for achieving effective linguistic interaction.

Our Italian and work in Florence in Education is organized by our school in Florence. Founded in 1978, it is recognised by the Italian Education Ministry. These training internships combine Italian lessons with an experiential learning in school or educational companies.
The atmosphere is cheerful and informal. The school is located in an historic building in the centre of Florence, very close to Ponte Vecchio and Piazza Santo Spirito, one of the most beautiful squares in the city, as well as a meeting place for Florentines.

Accommodation in Florence

- The flats are shared with Italians, which makes it easier to practise the language.
- Accommodation is allocated approximately 20 days before your arrival in Italy.
- In some cases, it is possible to request a private bathroom (at an additional cost).
If you prefer, you can also request other types of accommodation, such as private apartments or stays with Italian families with half board, always in areas well connected to the centre of the city.
