Students from all over the world come to Florence to study traditional techniques of metalwork. Our jewellery courses allow students to acquire practical experience and additional specialized techniques.

Where are held jewellery courses?

Depending on the course we offer jewellery courses in a professional school or in professional workshops both located in the historic centre of Florence.

The jewellery school is active in the field of making and design jewellery since 1988. The school has a large and well-equipped workshop with individual professional workbenches, tools and machineries. The courses are taught by professional master artisans.

Professional workshops are located in the historic centre of Florence and the master artisans work closely with the students focusing on their development and learning.

Are jewellery courses individual or in group?

Most of our jewellery courses are held in our jewellery school and they are in group. However we offer also courses one-to-one such the Basic and Advanced Jewellery courses and the Filigree and Bas-relief courses.

I am an absolute beginner, can I attend one of your courses?

Yes you can! We offer courses for all levels.

Are you offering bespoke course programmes?

Upon to the request, for one-to-one courses is possible to arrange a personalized programme depending on students’ need and level.

What language is the course delivered? Do I need to know Italian?

Generally our jewellery courses are either in Italian or in English. Please check with Studiainitalia prior enroll the course.

Can I combine the jewellery course with an Italian language course?

How long does a lesson last and what is the course timetable?

Classes are generally 60 minutes and the timetable can vary if it is a group or an individual course. Lessons might be either in the morning or in the afternoon.

How long are the jewellery courses?

Course length depends on the type of course. We offer courses of minimum 2 weeks to up to 72 weeks.

How can I enrol?

Once you have chosen your course in Italy, you have to fill in and send our online registration form and enclose payment of 150 € to our account or with paypal. Once your form and your payment have been received, we will start organizing your stay, your course and your accommodation. After a few days, you will receive a confirmation email. About 25 days before your trip you will pay your balance and receive all the necessary information for your travel.

Are course materials included?

Generally materials are not included in the group courses as it depends on the type of course and project. We can provide a general information on the average cost and on the first day of lesson materials will be discussed and confirmed with the teacher.

For one-to-one courses the materials are included.

Will I receive a certificate of attendance?

At the end of the course you will receive, upon request, a certificate.

What other information should I know before my trip to Italy?

Studiainitalia will provide you with all the necessary information about the city you will be travelling to, as well as helpful advice for you to learn Italian and get the most out of your stay in the country.
