Fashion design course
Our fashion design course in Italy has a duration of 4 weeks during the Summer months.
Scuola Moda was founded in Cesena in 2007 by Catia Lorenzini. Catia is a qualified teacher in the art of modeling and tailoring. The school boasts an exceptional teaching staff since it collaborates with the prestigious Burgo Institute of Milan, which has been operating in the fashion field since 1960 and has over 26 locations around the world and has been awarded various international awards and recognitions.
A 4-week course to learn the techniques of Made in Italy processing applied to a capsule collection. The Intensive Fashion Design Course offers information on the basics of becoming a stylist. The course studies fashion trends, clothing design, pattern making, materials and design for creating fashion collections.
The intensive course is organized in 4 units. Each of these units will be focused on developing a specific area of fashion design and will serve as an introduction for the students, so the student can get a clearer idea of which area he is interested in. We encourage students to start creating a portfolio as a fashion designer.
The school offers programme for international students which allows young people from all over the world to come to Italy to study fashion design.
Since its creation, the school has tried to promote the integration of people of different ages and countries. Creating opportunities is our way of contributing to the community that has been with us for many years.
Frequency
From June – Monday to Friday 8:30 – 15:00

Lessons will be held at the Cesena Fashion School headquarters and the certificates will be awarded by the Burgo Institute in Milan.
Materials: The school provides with theoretical tools both for the tailoring area and for the design area. Students must bring their own computer with the requirements specified by the school. For Mac users, there will be an extra cost of 5 € for the installation of the software package.
* A minimum of 5 students enrolled is required to start the course. Minimun age required: 24 years
