Our Italian school in Taormina, Babilonia, is recognised by the Italian Ministry of Education.
The school is a few meters from the Greek Theatre. The school has a beautiful garden where they host a wide variety of cultural events. In the garden students can relax under the lush green trees. You can study and meet your friends for a coffee.
The school cafeteria prepares typical Sicilian dishes. All of the teachers speak one or two other languages. The school organizes many social activities and excursions.

- Single rooms, with kitchen use, in shared flats (generally 2-3 persons);
- Double rooms, with kitchen use, for couples and people travelling together;
- Single rooms in host families, with meals;
Accommodation is available from Sunday to Sunday.
• Costs of water, gas and electricity are included. Towels and sheets are provided.
• Flats are shared with Italians, generally between 2 or 3 persons.
• Accommodations are assigned only 20 days before your arrival in Italy.

Não recomendo a nenhum amigo. Taormina é uma cidade extremamente turística. Temos porca oportunidade de praticar a língua italiana porque na rua, nos restaurantes, lojas, etc., todos respondem em inglês e insistem em falar em inglês. Ademais, a cidade é “fake”, é ocupada por estrangeiros, quantidades imensas, todos habitando no centro de Taormina. Os nativos, italianos, não podem pagar as rendas da cidade.
Para os amigos sugiro uma visita de 2 dias a Taormina, e para os inimigos 15 dias.

I have just completed a one week course in Taormina and can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who wants to take their Italian language skills to the next level. The school encourages only Italian to be spoken and if you discipline yourself to that requirement you will progress more than you can imagine! My tips are: don’t be shy, join in the extra activities and avoid anyone who keeps on speaking English!The school has an onsite restaurant/cafe of the highest standard which is a real bonus.Only regret is that I didn’t go for longer – very, very good value in my opinion.
