The course exceeded my expectations! Rima put all her interest and vast knowledge at the service of my desire to learn not only about the works of art, but also about the historical, social and even personal context of the artists. Apart from her profound knowledge of art history, the passion with which she transmits it has made me enjoy every hour of the course very much, the organisation was excellent, with good support from the course leaders and the Machiavelli Institute, a pleasure that I hope to repeat!

My husband and I did one week private course with Rima in Italian and recommend it absolutely ! We have only moderate Italian but could understand perfectly, she made it very clear, and it helped our language skills. She is so enthusiastic and knowledgable about every detail, the whole course is visiting museums and churches daily and was a wonderful experience. She also suggested names of other places and towns to visit The school Studiainitalia was always very helpful and flexible . Definitely recommend .

I travelled to Florence in the company of my mother with the aim of doing an Italian course for me, a painting course for her and an art history course together in one week. The experience exceeded our expectations: the organisation of the activities was impeccable and tailor-made, the professionalism of the teachers was top-notch and the treatment was very friendly. Rima coordinated the activities to make them compatible with my mum’s painting course, we met at every museum, palazzo, gallery at a convenient time, she transmitted her knowledge of art in great detail and passion, it was a pleasure to walk around the city in her company.finally, my mum did the painting course at the Accademia AD’A with two teachers who helped her to refresh her notions of painting, which she hadn’t practised for decades. She enjoyed every minute of the hours spent concentrating on painting and was surprised at how much she was able to do in just 10 hours: it’s time for her to take up brushes and oil painting again! The location of the Machiavelli centre is strategic, the treatment of everyone we interacted with was impeccable (Federica, Lara). This type of tourism, in a city where art is present at every step, Studiainitalia is a highly recommended innovative option.

I am VERY happy. Rima is an incredibly knowledgeable person who knows the topics in depth and conveys the information with a contagious passion! I understood very well what we talked about and I am looking forward to learning more. I congratulate you for such a professional teacher!

I was 100 per cent satisfied with my Art History course at Studia in Italia in Florence in March 2019! It was two weeks of classes in the city’s historical sites, in the company of a highly competent, kind and very well prepared teacher, where I was able to learn much more than I expected, in a light and cheerful way. My accommodation with an Italian family was perfect and gave me significant progress in my Italian vocabulary. I highly recommend this incredible experience!

I have taken a two-week course focused on Art History related to some periods of the Renaissance. It has been very profitable; a very good experience and very much due to the vast knowledge, on all the subjects that I have required in a punctual way from my teacher Rima who deserves an excellent 10. Thanks to her I have learned a lot, added a lot of new things to my knowledge on the subject and I have seen things from a different point of view, a “Florentine” point of view. I would recommend her 100 x 100.

I spent a week there and it was a fantastic experience. Very enjoyable classes visiting the most emblematic places and museums of Florence. A special thanks to Rima, who thanks to her clear explanations has made me appreciate the city and the history behind its art even more. Totally recommendable

It has been a great experience, I have done two weeks combining art history and Italian language and I am completely satisfied, both for the management of StudiainItalia and for the teachers I met there. Thank you very much and congratulations for the great organisation of the course. We were able to choose the contents to suit us and our teacher, Rima, knew how to make us enjoy it to the full. The accommodation was in an excellent location and the host family was very friendly.

I have just completed a two-week course in Florence in grammar, art history and several cooking lessons. It was a rewarding experience but too short. I think you need at least a month. The teachers were professional and friendly and the atmosphere in the classes was good. The art history course is taught directly in front of the works of art and is unbeatable. The teacher knows how to pass on her knowledge, which is a lot, with passion. The cooking classes were also interesting and practical and I would recommend these courses to anyone who likes Italy.
