The programme includes an intensive Italian course, 20 lessons per week, combined with cooking lessons, excursions and cultural activities.

Language classes take place in the morning, with a wide range of cultural activities and excursions following in the afternoons and evenings.

Italian 50+ in Taormina

Our Italian language school in Taormina is recognised by the Italian Ministry of Education. The school is located in a historic villa in Taormina, just a few meters from the Greek Theatre.

The villa hosts a wide variety of cultural events. Furthermore, in the garden you can relax and get some coffee or cappuccino. You can also eat typical Sicilian dishes in the cafeteria.

The school organizes numerous social activities and excursions to discover the Sicilian way of life. Enjoy Sicilian local customs, traditions, food and wines.

Single rooms, with kitchen use, in shared flats (generally 2-3 persons);
Double rooms, with kitchen use, for couples and people travelling together;
Single rooms in host families, with meals;

Accommodation is available from Sunday to Sunday.

• Costs of water, gas and electricity are included. Towels and sheets are provided.

• Flats are shared with Italians, generally between 2 or 3 persons.

• Accommodations are assigned only 20 days before your arrival in Italy.

• Sometimes it is possible to request a private bathroom (supplement required).

Excellent experience: Classmates, ‘insegnantes’, tourism, cooking and ceramic classes, cappuccinos and savory lunches . Stayed with a wonderful family (Sferros), private room/bathroom, organic food, independent entrance.Took the bus from Catania to Taormina. Taxi from bus terminal to Via Cappuccino.Yes, I did learn the basics to speak Italian (present tense).i recommend it 100%!
