Italian in Modena: Art, food and…cars!

Modena is worth a visit for many different reasons. It is known for balsamic vinegar and parmigiano. If you love cars, you cannot miss to take a selfie sitting in a Ferrari or a Lamborghini! Modena is also the capital of Italian opera and in Modena you can visit the Pavarotti Museum.

Our Intensive Italian courses consist of 4 Italian lessons per day, from 9:00 to 13:00.
Courses begin with a placement test to evaluate the language level, which allows to form the groups depending on the level, from beginners to advanced.
Groups are small, between 6-10 students. Each group works with two teachers and lessons are delivered exclusively in Italian.

The daily four lessons are divided into two parts: grammatical structures and conversation. You can do a course from a minimum of 1 week up to 48 weeks

The teaching material is consistently revised.

All participants will receive a certificate of attendance at the end of the course.

Our partner school in Modena is Romanica. The school is located in an historic building in the centre of Modena.The school offers courses to students of different ages and nationalities.

The lessons are held only in Italian.This method will encourage you to develop communication skills.The contact between you and your teachers will help to improve your pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar.

You can also apply for different kind of courses as spoken Italian, individual, full time, one to one lessons. Online courses are also available.

Accommodation is available from Sunday to Saturday.

Studia in Italia were wonderful. The helped me efficiently and quickly find a language school appropriate for my needs that I put forward, instead of me trolling through all the many choices in Italy and wasting so much time searching! I didn’t think I would like Modena so much! The school is great, but what is truly unique are the teachers and staff of this school which is in a lovely location. Elisabetta is unique and Oriana is amazing. They welcome you like a second family, they do everything with a smile and with true devotion, the accommodation was much better than a hotel! I liked the experience so much that I plan to come back.

You can tell that the teachers work with passion, patience and dedication, and the activities they organise after class are very interesting. I had the best two weeks completing my Italian language course. It enjoyed it so much that I enrolled for an extra two weeks of the course. The staff there were all so friendly and helpful. It was a shock to me when I realised it was all taught in Italian, but this was a great way to speed up the learning process. Being fully immersed in the language and culture has helped me significantly. I made great friendships with my fellow students and enjoyed doing other activities out of school with them. To want to go to school each morning and learn was a fantastic feeling. I’m really pleased with my progress that I have made in learning this language.Thank you for helping organise this for me, it has been one of the greatest experience of my life.
