Renaissance Dance

Travel to mid-16th century Italy and get to know the wonderful world of Renaissance dance. This course is offered all year-round, on request. We offer two different courses, taught by historical dancer Marco Bendoni. One of his projects, “I Medici”, is a Renaissance dance show that recreates the celebration of the marriage between Cosimo I de Medici and Eleonor de Toledo in 1539 that was premiered at the Museo Nazionale Bargello (Palazzo Medici Riccardi), with the support of the Italian Ministry of Culture.
