Florentine lectures that allow you to travel backwards in the history of the art of the city of Florence. Lesson 1: The artistic renewal of the second half of the 13th century in Tuscany with Nicola and Giovanni Pisano and Arnolfo di Cambio.
Lesson 2: Painting in the 13th and 14th centuries in central Italy and in particular in Florence. The great renewal of Giotto.
Lesson 3: Painting in Florence and Siena after Giotto.
Lesson 4: The beginning of the Renaissance: Lorenzo Ghiberti and Filippo Brunelleschi and the 1401 competition for the second door of the Florence baptistery.
Lesson 5: Masaccio and Donatello, both avant-garde.
Lesson 6: Painting after Masaccio. The search for light and color: Beato Angelico and Filippo Lippi.

Lesson 8: Florence in the second half of the 15th century. Verrocchio and his workshop. The Lorenzo the Magnificent courtyard and its artists.
Lesson 9: The court of Lorenzo the Magnificent. The refined painting of Botticelli. Leonardo and Verrocchio.
Lesson 10: Michelangelo and his training in the Mediterranean environment.
